Shadow Elf looking for Shelter

A shadow elf looking for shelter from the cold of the falling night. Unsuitable clothing for the season and also a little hunger force a young shadow elf on her belated way home from a visit to her best friend to take an unplanned rest in an apparently uninhabited forest hut. Her well-founded fear of humans and their habitat has given way to the instinct for self-preservation. She finds a key to the cabin lying on the door frame. She lights wood in the fireplace, takes for a meal from the rich supplies in the kitchen and also opens a good bottle of wine. It tastes really good to her and soon she gets tired and falls asleep, snuggled in a soft blanket by the cozy crackling, warming fireplace. Hours pass. A rapidly approaching engine noise, a vehicle comes to a stop right in front of the cabin. Voices can be heard, four people get out. The vehicle doors slam shut and they are already standing in front of the door unnoticed by the still peaceful and deeply sleeping forest child. Whether there is a rude awakening for her or everything turns out all right, you will find out here shortly.
