The Midwich Cuckoos #1-12

Invasive seeds from outer space in juvenile shells. They pretend to be "harmless" and "cute", but due to their superior alien DNA and equipped with psychogenic superpowers, they tend to behave like cruel sociopaths. If any "obstacle" dares to get in the way of their goal to infiltrate the elites or does not immediately respond unconditionally to their individual needs and interests, it is immediately punished, maimed or vaporized.

They will not answer questions they do not like, because they never lie. They read thoughts, if something bad is wished for one of them or even if a minor harm is done to one of them by mistake, then the whole collective knows immediately and a punishment according to the pattern "quid pro quo" is due. To prevent them from reading our minds, we should smile and think of very boring things while trying to walk away briskly. And last but not least. "No sense of humor." They take everything deadly seriously.
