A young woman found a mouning, injured and probably orphaned small being in the forest. She took it home and splinted its broken wing.
Gave it a place to rest on a warm, soft blanket. It was given milk and porridge in a bowl several times a day, but it only ate and drank from her warm, tender hand. It grew quickly and looked around. At night, it probably roamed the nearby forest, but before the first ray of sunlight, its wings always carried it home. It had found a safe place in the barn where no one would see it during the day. Its mom, who raised and fed it by hand, offered a secure place and protection in times of great need, came several times a day and stayed for a while even when it was asleep. One day, when it was already fully grown up and the sun was low in the sky, it was time to say goodbye and live a life more in keeping with its wild nature. Its mom had long suspected that the day would come when it would no longer return home. A simple hug would not be enough, it thought, and gently picked her up and held her tightly. It spread its wings and soared into the air with her. It flew skillfully and elegantly over the land they both knew so well. She didn't feel afraid at all, just a little tense from the pain of the approaching separation in her heart. It carefully set her down again where the flight began. A last mouthful of porridge with milk from her hand, a very long hug, a pat on the head and finally a loving, grateful look back into her beautiful eyes full of tears Then it is gone, probably never to return to this place.
Everything good in life has its time.
Let's enjoy it while it lasts and remember it later with great gratitude.
